David Mark Cherwien DAVID MARK CHERWIEN (b. 1957) was born in West Union, Iowa. He received an MA from the University of Minnesota and an MM degree from Augsburg College. A member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, he has served in numerous positions of authority within that denomination. He currently serves as organist-choir director at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
